Flex and AIR from the ground up

After working with Flex and Air over the last couple of years I think I can safely say that I have at least encountered all of the main aspects of developing and delivering a Flex built AIR application. Much of what I have learned has been from the blogs of other developers (and of course from Adobe labs) so I am putting together this 4 post series to summarize what I have learned and possibly help somebody else save themselves a few hours (or days). Here's a list of the articles:

1. Flex Architecture, when to use cairngorm events and when to use component events
2. How to put together a quality AIR installer package
3. Automatically updating your AIR application
4. Adobe's (somewhat secret) custom installers for AIR packages.

Hopefully this will be of help to somebody out there and of course I welcome constructive criticism/discussion.
